Ciara is a qualified Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist, having trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training, a long-established and reputable therapy training provider.

She holds Professional Liability Insurance, and is a registered member of the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). She also holds a Level 1 Disclosure Check (Disclosure Scotland).

She chose to train as a hypnotherapist because she enjoys working with people, and wanted to train in a profession where she could provide practical assistance to others.

Before beginning her hypnotherapy training, Ciara tutored students in English as a Foreign Language and academic writing. She has also worked as a Film Studies tutor at the University of Edinburgh.

Ciara has a PhD in Film Studies, having done extensive research in the field of film history and classical Hollywood cinema.

In her spare time, she loves to read, listen to music, and watch films.
